a most unusual supper...

Rather than being imaginative, I have cut and pasted the press release about this intriguing event. It's happening in Dumfries, which is a little bit out of my usual circuit, but stars Ian Smith (one-time MC of the National Review of Live Art, erstwhile Skinny favourite and a man unafraid to cry when his hands still dance; Alex Rigg who nearly got arrested that time outside The Arches for doing butoh and... well, I am not sure who else but there are seven of them in total...
Six illustrious time travelers from the 1790s arrive in Dumfries with an invitation to have supper with one Robert Burns, poet of that country.

Catherine the Great, Benjamin Franklin, Wolfgang Mozart, William Blake, Mary Wollestonecraft, The Marquis de Sade and a mysterious Abbe are lost and hungry in the streets of Dumfries, arguing about ballooning, the French Revolution, the Rights of Women (and Man), the nature of lightening and the recipe for the metaphysical haggis. Can you help them? Can you feed them?

The Lost Supper will be happening OUTSIDE The Stove on Dumfries High Street between 8.30 & 10pm on Friday 25th January 2013.

It's a FREE EVENT!
